Post 22: Explain the advantages and disadvantages of doing peer reviews.

 Peer reviews are good as an academic reading and getting to know your colleagues` papers. Evaluating their work help us find the same mistakes on our texts sometimes. Creating a collaborative environment inside the classroom can lead us to help each other be better writers.

    I agree, seeing others papers and realizing their mistakes makes me go back to my work and see if I made the same mistake.

    By doing peer views you get to a better understanding of a person. The sources and the quotes they chose to use can you an idea of their viewpoints. Example, if a classmate is doing a paper on abortion you can guess by the information where they stand on the issue. Not all the time of course. It's also like having someone edit and proofread as well.

Since I come from another country and we have different rules for academic writing, I am still adapting to that kind of "life in a America". Next paper I will try to move away to the boring 3-paragraph style. It works, but sometimes you cannot limit yourself to supporting your ideas on just a few blocks.

 My Post 15 was briefer than I would like. I should probably have explained more ideas of how I prepare myself when writing an academic text. Some advice might encourage other students to look at their writing process in a different way and help in some kind of fashion.
