Post 4: Rosenberg's Strategies

 When reading Rosenberg's strategies for an academic writing assignment, I have always believed that a good introduction can grab the reader's attention and ease their way into the thesis, therefore helping their understanding of the objective of the paper. On the other hand, assigning a title for my paper has always been a challenge to me. I am still studying his ideas and revisiting my text to determine which one suits me best.

Post 2: "So You've Got a Writing Assignment"

 According to Corrine E. Hilton, panic and procrastination are issues that sometimes come hand in hand when dealing with writing assignments. Most people tend to leave their obligations to the last minute, although it is not uncommon for an undergraduate student to have several writing assignment due on the same week. Procrastinating is an issue that we have to be constantly aware of. Reading and writing require critical thinking and sometimes it is more productive that we revisit the same topic on different days. That way, students make sure they can revisit and review their tasks before turning them in and making them more accurate.

Post 1: Google yourself and asses your online image

 When I googled my first and last name there are many results of a Brazilian educator and philosopher from the 20th century. Therefore, when trying to search for my full name I could not find anything besides my Linkedin profile. The good thing about it is that I do not have anything negative that my future employer could find, but there is not much information either. I believe that I can improve that by creating a more visible professional image.

Post 1: Introducing Paulo

Hello everyone, My name is Paulo Freire and my major is in IT - Cybersecurity. I'm Brazilian and moved to Macon last year. I love reading about different kinds of topics, watching TV series and movies and gaming when I have time for it. I majored in Journalism in Brazil and worked for some time in Brazilian e-Sports websites. I'm glad to be part of this class for this term. Thanks!
